Registration Paperwork

 This course consists of five full days of 8+ hours of classroom, field, and range instruction.  

This course will include physically and mentally stressful activities.  Participants are expected to be in above-average physical condition before attending.  

Prerequisites

All students must be certified law enforcement or correctional officers. Priority registration for students currently assigned to tactical or specialized units, where this class is required before deployment.

 This course consists of one full day of 8 hours of classroom instruction. The course is delivered through a combination of lectures, interactive activities, case studies, videos, and quizzes. Materials needed: Notebook and writing utensil or other notetaking devices. Casual attire.

Students are encouraged to bring any written material they may have about the structure and function of their sniper program; i.e. SOPs, training programs, etc.

 This 40-hour course is designed to train the trainers, giving snipers and team leaders the tools they need to design and deliver in-service sniper training to others.  This is not a basic sniper course, and students are expected to come with the prerequisite knowledge and skills. This course will certify trainers as an In-Service Police Sniper Trainer for their department.
